Ferrari FF

2013 Ferrari FF is one of the most stunning supercars from Ferrari, an Italian Prancing Horse company. FF stands for the Ferrari Four which indicates its patented 4RM, first ever four-wheel drive system, and four body-hugging seats though it is a two-door wagon body. It is innovatively designed for drivability, versatility and usability. This luxurious model is deliberately manufactured with a 6,262 cc 660 horsepower 8,000 rpm mid-front V12 engine. Ferrari FF uses 7-speed F1 Dual-Clutch gearbox. All parts have been designed to be lightweight but high-performance. The total weight of this supercar is only 1,790 kg while the weight distribution is 47% at the front and 53% at the rear.

The 4RM is a newly introduced system which replaces the conventional four-wheel drive system. This layout reduces 50% in weight but has more weight-to-power ratio and low center of gravity thus giving superior performance and improved system responsiveness. It has a maximum speed of 335 km/h in which it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and boost from 0 to 200 km/h in 11 seconds. Ferrari claims that FF can be beautifully driven on any kinds of surfaces; standstill, slipperiest, snowiest and iciest. 2013 Ferrari FF utilizes the F-1 derived steering wheel for dynamic vehicle control. This electronic stability control has five settings to absolutely guarantee maximum traction and balance. The first one is OFF which disables the stability control.

The second one is SPORT which is designed to use in high grip situations. The third one is COMFORT which gives the maximum stability. The fourth and fifth ones are WET and ICE-SNOW which are easy to use in low and very low grip conditions. Fuel tank capacity is 91 liters with a consumption of 15.4 liters for 100 km. This model also introduces the HELE (High Emotions Low Emissions) system which optimizes the gear shift pattern, intelligent fan control, fuel pump control and electronic air-conditioning compressor displacement control. This solution results in a CO2 emission rate of 360 g/km., a 25% reduction from the previous models. The length, width and height are 4,097 mm., 1,953 mm. and 1,379 mm. respectively. 2013 Ferrari FF has six exclusive colors tailored to the driver’s needs. Rear seats are equipped with two screens, 1,280 watt, and 16-channel stereo system with Quantum logic Surround Sound. Ferrari also announced that FF will provide an optional full-length panoramic sunroof without an additional cost.
